How does TukToro work
Inside the TukToro figure is modern sensor technology. When your child rolls the dice, the figure automatically recognizes the number patterns thrown. The data is transmitted wirelessly via Bluetooth to the app – without your child having to press or connect anything. The gaming experience is intuitive and controlled as if by magic. This keeps the focus entirely on the game.
TukToro is charged inductively, without any cables or exposed contacts. This is safer for children's hands and practical for everyday use. Simply place the figure on the charging station, and that's it!
Why is this approach better than traditional methods?
TukToro is more than a toy - it's a modern learning solution that replaces traditional worksheets. While many methods encourage passive listening, TukToro focuses on active, self-directed learning. The combination of haptics and digital feedback engages multiple senses simultaneously. This strengthens cognitive development, the understanding of quantities and numbers - and, above all, is fun. Children learn at their own pace and experience real moments of success.
Can my child use TukToro on the go?
An internet connection is required for the initial app download and setup, but afterward, much of the content can be played offline. Ideal for when Wi-Fi isn't available on the go. Most games can be pre-downloaded, so they work even without an internet connection: for example, on the train, in a café, or at Grandma and Grandpa's. All you need is a device with sufficient storage.
Can several children learn at the same time?
The app does not currently offer the option to create multiple user profiles. However, siblings or school friends can still learn together, support each other, and track their own progress. TukToro has also been tested with great success in school classes. Children motivate each other, exchange ideas, and help each other solve tasks.
The chicken game in particular is designed for two-player fun for all children who already have a good understanding of quantities and can master the transition to ten - and it also inspires adults!
Can normal dice also be used?
No, because TukToro uses special educational dice with number images from 0 to 5. This is the only way the device can reliably recognize the dice and correctly assign the learning content. The set includes eight dice – four active dice and four spare dice. Replacement dice can be ordered as needed.
Which devices does TukToro work with?
The TukToro app runs on almost all modern iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, as well as on Mac computers. Important: Amazon Fire tablets are technically Android devices, but not every model meets the requirements. To ensure everything works smoothly, your device needs at least iOS 13 (Apple) or Android 12 (including Amazon Fire tablets). A version for Windows PCs is in the works.
Please note: The app is optimized for use on tablet screens, not smartphones, to make the gaming experience even more comfortable and clear for your child.
