Starting school: A magical moment

Starting school marks the beginning of a new phase in every child's life full of discoveries, adventures and first learning successes. This is exactly where TukToro comes in: with games that are fun for children and help them learn at the same time. Through movement, stories and dice games, they discover numbers intuitively and develop their first feeling for mathematics. In this way, curiosity turns into enthusiasm for learning all by itself.

Stone by stone, this is how we learn

Learning is part of life. What remains, however, is not what we have practiced for hours on end, but what we have enjoyed doing. This is exactly where TukToro comes in: With a playful approach, clear structure and gentle feedback, it accompanies children step by step on their path to numeracy. From first counting in nursery, to comparing quantities, to addition and subtraction and multiplication in elementary school: each game is a building block in the learning process. Child-friendly stories and clear tasks turn abstract mathematics into a comprehensible path.

TukToro: Toys with didactic depth

Our games are created through dialogue with parents, educators, and professionals from daycare centers, schools, and learning therapy; and, of course, with the main characters, the children themselves. Because they know exactly what they like to play and learn with: whether it's dwarves, beanstalks, or clucking chickens.

Here we introduce you to some games and the special features of learning with TukToro.

Picnic in Space: Counting with all the senses

TukToro's feeding in space is just the beginning, but it's not just for little ones! Amounts are perceived haptically, aurally, and visually, even before children are able to reliably recognize numbers or dice patterns. First, the dice are shaken, and then the little bunny counts along, while TukToro, with a growling tummy, hungrily devours the dots. It doesn't matter which planet or number pattern is being fed, as long as the amount is correct!

Multisensory feedback is used to develop an understanding of quantities: ideal for preschool children and an important prerequisite for confident arithmetic in primary school.

TukToro Pyramide

Understanding how numbers are related

Once the children have learned how to compare quantities with the dwarves after feeding the dots and have developed a firm feeling for series and the number line on the beanstalk and in the cloud path, the first important arithmetic operation follows: the addition pyramid.

Arithmetic pyramids are an important element of the early years because they teach basic arithmetic principles. Each number is composed of others, and each level builds on the one below it. Combined with the dice game, TukToro's pyramid is more flexible and motivating than any worksheet.

And children aren't alone when it comes to self-checking either: Colored lights, sounds, and vibrations provide immediate feedback. The suns suggest numbers, giving them the reassuring feeling: One of them is correct. I can do it!

In the crazy chicken coop: Calculate, remember, think tactically

What begins as a harmless egg-collecting game turns out to be a clever exercise for math pros. In this crazy chicken coop, mental arithmetic, memory, and strategic thinking come together. Cheerful dice clattering and genuine surprises round out the game. It's no wonder that older siblings, parents, and grandparents also enjoy this dice-rolling fun. Whether playing alone or with a partner: whoever remembers which chicken hides which number wins!

Young and old alike practice breaking down numbers, refine their sense of number spaces, and apply their first arithmetic strategies. While there are always several ways to break down numbers, the stables are emptying... A playful logic exercise that shows: "Memory with Arithmetic" is as fun as it is challenging. Even the multiplication variant.

Don't just give your child a game; give them the feeling: I can do this.

TukToro is more than just a toy. It guides children through their introduction to arithmetic with imagination, movement, and clear structures. This develops a true understanding of numbers and confidence in their own abilities.

The best part: You play together. Whether as opponents in the chicken coop or as a team solving puzzles, TukToro's stories turn math steps into shared successes.
